Description

In the very first chapter of Psalms, the Lord made a promise; ‘Like a tree planted by streams of water… they will bear fruit in season, and whatever they do will prosper.’ This promise belongs to those who read and meditate on the Word of God day and night. Even now, we remain the receivers of this promise, for God has never failed to fulfill His Word, most fully through His Son, Jesus Christ. Those who abide in Him will inherit eternal life.

It is by His Spirit that we are given the nine fruits of the Spirit, which testify that we stand on the Lord’s side in the great spiritual battle. This battle, waged by the enemy of God against the Lord and His children, is unseen to human eyes, yet it is very real in the realm of the Spirit. In this book, I invite you to walk with me as we reflect on the first and greatest of these fruits: love.

When we live out the fruits of the Spirit, our time on earth becomes more joyful, meaningful, and fruitful, while our eternal place in Heaven is made secure. If you believe that you are more than just flesh, bone, and marrow, then I encourage you to press deeper into the Spirit. Begin with love; receive it, live it, and inspire others to do the same.

It is my prayer that you will be as blessed in reading these pages as I have been in writing them. May the Lord open your heart to His love and cause it to overflow into the lives of others.
